In preparation for their sophomore album »Book Of Black« due out this November, Draken is back to unleash the premiere of their second single »Symbiote« thanks to Outlaws Of The Sun!

It’s no secret that the Draken lads rock it out something fierce and »Symbiote« is no exception to their ripping riffing crusade.

A killer peak into what to expect with »Book Of Black« which the band calls “.. a very natural step forward.”
Draken is a well-oiled machine built for one thing: fist-pumping, head-banging shredding of the highest calibre.
Full to the brim with mega bounding basslines, breakneck chug and gut-punching vocals »Symbiote« comes in hard right out the gate. We are even treated to a bit of the softer side of The Dragon amidst all their ruthless head-banging and the din of dynamic double guitars and screaming riff solos. Lulled into a false sense of comfort with a little taste of expertly placed atmosphere in the addictively melodic chorus the band then seamlessly brings the track right back around to the heavy like a punch straight to the face.

Holy Shit, »Symbiote« slaps and now is your chance to take the first listen!

Hallvard (bass and lead vocals) tells us that “»Symbiote« is the second single for our upcoming sophomore album, I hope you guys enjoy it! Anita Kaasbøl from Bladed (an awesome band, check them out!) added some nice vocals that blend with my own on the chorus of this song. I have to say that I’m really proud of this track, and it all came together quite easily. I developed the basic riff-verse-chorus idea, and later on, we added on a couple of Even’s ideas as well. I really like that it is quite brass and to-the-point, but still has this whole solo/middle section with a lot of different passages. Even plays his socks off on his guitar solo as well, it absolutely blew my mind in the studio and it still does! Enjoy, folks!”
