Following the success of their acclaimed 2024 debut album, Sykofant proudly unveils their next musical chapter. The EP »Red Sun« will be released on March 20, and marks a bold evolution in the band’s sound and storytelling. This release dives deeper into the concept and sonic universe first introduced on their debut album, exploring and expanding upon its evocative desert themes. While shorter in length, »Red Sun« delivers the same depth and intricacy that listeners have come to expect from Sykofant, featuring layered compositions, complex rhythms, and expressive melodies.
The EP is the first of two interconnected releases, both thematically and musically, with the second set to arrive later in 2025. Together, these twin EPs will form a cohesive album, which will be available in physical formats (vinyl and CD). This ambitious project is sure to be a must-have for both collectors and fans alike.
