Norwegian sludge/doom/stoner metal band Aldri presents a compilation »Kaleidosonisk (2014 – 2020)«, out now on limited edition cassette!

Oslo, Norway based misanthropic sludge/doom/stoner metal band Aldri has just released a compilation »Kaleidosonisk (2014 – 2020)« on January 27th, 2024. First ever physical release of their EP from 2014 and the previously unreleased EP from 2020, available now on limited edition cassette.

Aldri are known as pioneers of the original Samidoom movement, marks their tenth anniversary by releasing a compilation, »Kaleidosonisk (2014 – 2020)«. This release features the seminal 2014 EP and the previously unreleased 2020 EP.

After a deep and extended meditation session on the plains, Aldri returns and takes listeners on an insightful journey. Through walking across marshes against the wind and navigating with a kaleidoscope, Aldri are ready to share their wisdom with the world.

Aldri explores the depths of musical insight and knowledge with one hand on the knife and the other around society’s throat. With a burning hatred of Læstadius’ heresy, they express their disgust through their music. Each song is like a unique and astonishing experience in a kaleidoscopic landscape, and it is remarkable that Aldri has received wisdom from Noadie-gázzien’s inexhaustible well of knowledge. Their music is deeply rooted in Sami history and tradition, and they use this knowledge to create a sound that is both timeless and innovative.
