Norwegian stoner rock band Grand Atomic premiere their brand new single »Night Rider«
Fredrikstad, Norway based stoner rock band Grand Atomic premiere their brand new single »Night Rider«.
Grand Atomic was formed as a trio back in 2016 with the goal to make great Scandinavian rock’n’roll as they did back in the 1990’s.
When the band sat out jamming new tunes the style was more punk rock, but over time the band evolved to a heavier sound and started to sound more and more like a full blown stoner rock band.
Grand Atomic takes influences from bands like Truckfighters, Graveyard, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Dozer, Elder and other stoner rock bands that emerged from all over the world.
After their first single, »Ivy King« in 2019, the trio felt something was missing in their music and out of the void a text rolled in from Ben Bouker with the question, “you guys wanna jam?”
Not long after the first rehearsal was done, a song was already in place and the result was the single »Night Rider«.
The band is planing to release a full album and are aiming towards being a force to be reckoned with within the underground stoner rock scene.
Grand Atomic is:
Einar Ruud-Jorgensen – Bass
Odd Helge Eide – Drums
Fredrik Bäckstrom – Guitar
