Bergen, Norway based traditional doom metal trio Strange Horizon has just released their second full-length album »Skur 14« on May 26th, 2023 via Apollon Records.

Traditional doom metal, or as we often call it, blytung skandinavisk heavy metal! Influenced by Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Count Raven, the Finnish scene, the Maryland scene, 60s/70s proto-hard rock, blues and NWOBHM.

Says the band: “The album features Eirik Arntsen of Kryptograf, who was with us on drums during the time of writing and recording. It was recorded and mixed by Odd Erlend Mikkelsen, also of Kryptograf. The music was partially written, arranged and recorded in Skur 14, Bergen. The cover art by Simen Langeland portrays the location infused with the world of Strange Horizon.”
