Ol’ Time Moonshine releases new single and music video »Royal Queen«; »Now I Bleed« LP out this Friday via Black Throne Productions!

Toronto, Canada based stoner/doom metal band Ol’ Time Moonshine share new single and music video »Royal Queen«.
»Royal Queen« is the third single taken from Ol’ Time Moonshine’s upcoming album, entitled »Now I Bleed«, set to release this Friday, June 12th, 2026 via Black Throne Productions.
The band comments: “»Royal Queen« is out. The video is out. And the full album drops June 12th. We made something we’re damn proud of – loud, raw, and unapologetic. This one’s for the ones who never needed a crown to know their worth. Ol’ Time Moonshine. June 12th. You’ve been warned.”

Ol’ Time Moonshine returns with a vengeance with a dense, smoke-choked slab of riff-driven heaviness which marks another step deeper into the band’s signature blend of grit, groove, and southern-soaked distortion.
»Royal Queen« is the dynamic 3rd single from Ol’ Time Moonshine’s new record, »Now I Bleed«, due for release on June 12, 2026 through Black Throne Productions. »Now I Bleed« is now available for pre-order HERE.
The single is built around thick mid-tempo swing and hard-edged guitar tones that run through the full LP. »Royal Queen« leans into the band’s dirtier side without losing clarity. There’s a strong Southern heavy rock backbone underneath it all but does not settle into nostalgia or retro worship. Along with the single, the band is also releasing the official music video as the last sample of the album before it’s release – filmed at Black Throne Productions.

The album is punishing and heavy, built on influences from Clutch, Danzig, and The Obsessed. The gnarled vocal delivery feels dragged through gravel and inspired from decades of heavy metal legends and the album as a whole leans hard in the direction of heavy metal abrasiveness but is still equal parts hypnotic with catchy hooks.
Clocking in at 31 minutes across eight tracks, »Now I Bleed« was recorded, mixed and mastered by Scott Middleton at High Wattage Cottage, whose production keeps the record direct and physical without sanding off the edges. The band describes the release as a long process shaped by “literal blood, sweat and tears,” with Middleton helping push the material into its strongest form to date.
Says the band: “»Now I Bleed« is a labour of love, and a lot of (literal) blood, sweat and tears went into recording this release. We feel it is our strongest release to date, and our producer, Scott Middleton, understood the assignment and did an incredible job of realizing our potential and the potential of the songs.”
Ol’ Time Moonshine about their previous single »Poison«: “»Poison« is the tale of a man in love with death. This one is track one, side A on »Now I Bleed«. It shows you what we’re about right out of the gate.”
The single follows closely behind their first from the album, »She Moves« which was released back on March 20 along with its music video, filmed at Black Throne Productions’ Toronto home-base, Bovine Sex Club during Ol’ Time Moonshine’s live premier of the single.
