Portland, Oregon based dark folk solo project Corchorus premieres a lyric video for debut single »Words Asunder«, released on September 2nd, 2026 via Savo-Karelian Productions.

Corchorus, a new one-man dark folk project, has released its debut single »Words Asunder«. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Corchorus draws inspiration from high strangeness, supernatural phenomena and the dark side of folklore.

»Words Asunder« sets heavy ritual percussion against atmospheric synth compositions, while strummed acoustic guitar remains the core of the track. The song was inspired by the artist’s stream of consciousness writings, dealing with anxiety and suppression of creativity.
