The song »Zlodějská světélka« by Dissolving Of Prodigy will be released for the first time on a seperated CD!

Dissolving Of Prodigy was a Czech doom/death band under that name, active between 1993 and 2013. In January 2013, the band played their long-announced last concert as part of the celebration of the 12th anniversary of the Pařát magazine where they said goodbye to their fans. On that day, the album »Time Ruins Also Beauty« from 1997, according to many the best Czech doom metal record ever, was also released under the wings of Pařát Productions for the first time on LP. The possibility of a later comeback ended on September 23, 2013, when Dissolving Of Prodigy frontman and founder René “Fusaty” Krystyn died of cardiac arrest. At only 39 years old. As I was a big fan of the band and had a great friendship with Fusaty for many years, after his passing I decided to continue the legacy of spreading the music of Dissolving Of Prodigy to collectors around the world. Over the years, everything the band has ever recorded has been and will be reissued on CD, LP and MC.

One Dissolving Of Prodigy song, the very longest at almost a quarter of an hour, seemed to me to be quite an afterthought. That would be because the band recorded it in 2010 only for the CD compilation »Unveiling The Signs«, on which Dissolving Of Prodigy appeared together with Pantheïst, Gallileous, Wijlen Wij and the solo project of Kostas Panagiotou, the frontman of Pantheïst and Wijlen Wij.

Of course, I knew about »Unveiling The Signs« at the time of its release and in the 36th issue of Parat (October 2010) I devoted a lot of space to this compilation, or rather to the representatives of all the bands. At least since 2020, when »Unveiling The Signs« celebrated its tenth anniversary, I was wondering where to add »Zlodějská světélka« one day. As a bonus to which reissue? Actually, the solution is quite simple, and it hit me only last year, when the fifteen-year anniversary of the recording and release of that song was approaching. Do not add anything, release as a single title, with its own front cover, with its own commemorative booklet…

For the fans and collectors of Dissolving Of Prodigy, among whom I proudly count myself, there is another opportunity to add a title with the addition of first! »Zlodějská světélka« is released for the first time on a stand-alone CD with its own frontcover and an extensive booklet full of memories, mainly of the period when the band at the helm with Fusaty recorded their penultimate studio song and also their last original studio song. It was only performed live once.

Pre-orders for Dissolving Of Prodigy – »Zlodějská světélka« and special T-shirts for this release were launched in the Pařátshop HERE on April 28. T-shirts in 7 sizes are traditionally “only” up for pre-order until May 11. After that date, the gates will close and reprints will not be available.

Of course, you can order anything in addition to the CD, T-shirt or both in one order, and the complete package will be shipped no later than the day of the release, which is Monday, May 19.
