American southern/doom metal duo Patriarchs In Black premiere new single and music video »The Call« featuring special guests John DeServio (Black Label Society) on bass and Karl Agell (Legions Of Doom, The Skull, Lie Heavy) on vocals.

»The Call« is the first single taken from Patriarchs In Black’s fourth studio album, entitled »Home«, which will be released August 15th, 2025 on vinyl, CD and digitally via Metalville Records.

Former Type O Negative/Danzig drummer Johnny Kelly and guitarist riff writer Dan Lorenzo formed Patriarchs In Black at the end of 2021. The project included well known guests on vocals and bass including Karl Agell (COC Blind/Lie Heavy), Jimmy Gnecco, Dewey Bragg (Kill Devil Hill/Bill Ward) among others. Their debut single »Demon Of Regret« came out January 2022 and a full album was released July 1st 2022. August 25th 2023 Johnny and Dan were joined by DMC (Run-DMC) and Mark Sunshine (Unida) on the single »Veneration«. Their 2nd album »My Veneration« was October 6th 2023 with multiple guest vocalists and bassists.

So many great reviews and Sirius/XM played Dead or Dying. Then just for fun Patriarchs In Black released a Queen cover, a Kiss cover and a song from the first Twisted Sister album. July 19th 2024 Patriarchs In Black released their album (all originals) called »Visioning«. The duo of Kelly and Lorenzo handle all the drums and guitars respectfully and Mark Sunshine, Karl Agell, Kelly Abe, DMC and Rob Traynor returned to contribute vocals as does Exhorder’s Kyle Thomas. 2024 also saw the limited edition CD only release of »Covered In Black« a covers EP.

In the summer of 2025 Patriarchs In Black will release their 4th album titled »Home«, the band’s 2nd for Germany’s MetalVille Records. »The Call« is the first pre-release single from the upcoming studio album »Home« (out August 15th). The Patriarchs In Black Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) and Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Danzig) were able to win over two well-known guest musicians for the track. John JD DeServio from Black Label Society on bass and singer Karl Agell (COC Blind) lend the doomy »The Call« a unique atmosphere that makes the song stand out from the masses of the genre.
