Peruvian heavy rockers Rifle return with their second full-length album »Beyond Paranoia«

Lima, Peru based heavy rockers Rifle are back with their second full-length album, »Beyond Paranoia«, which was just released on May 31st, 2025.

A mix of acid thunder driving rock and roll and esoteric nightmare ballads. That’s how the second album by Rifle sounds like. The vibe is about paranormal forces and journeys to dark corners of broken psyches. This album almost ended up in the sewer due to clashes between its members. However, it rose from hell dirty, bruised, but victorious.

After a mind blowing tour in Chile, they set out to record a new album, not as lo-fi or garage as the last one. Nes from La Hell Gang was the perfect guy to mix this madness.

Finishing this fucker took twenty times longer than the first album. Back in 2023, the band planned to record some of these tracks along with two covers, but everything went sideways and Ale moved to Canada for a while. When he came back, things got even worse and Ufo split. The two remaining kept pushing and managed to record a demo of this album.

Tato was the chosen one to play drums on half the record and Ale was supposed to handle the other half, but in the end, Ale called Ufo back in for old time’s sake.

This time around, Magno, who handled the fuzzed-out leads on the previous album was destined to take full control of the guitars on three songs due to the leader been sucked up by a toxic tragic love and then by the soothing deathly arms of fentanyl.
