Says the band: “With great joy we share with you our first debut album titled »Profeta«. It has been several months of effort and patience to see this first official work of Laura La Sangrienta completed. It is an album with 6 studio songs and 1 live song as a bonus track, all in instrumental style that brings together our most detonating influences within stoner, heavy rock and raw and direct rock and roll. »Profeta« is an album inspired by the Cosmos, its mysteries and the curiosity to reach and discover distant worlds and new forms of life and death in its unimaginable confines, always under the influence of the only universal prophet of horror: HP Lovecraft.”
Laura La Sangrienta is a psychedelic/stoner/heavy rock band from Lima, Peru formed in mid-2017 by Christian Laura Rios (Kristo) on guitar and Enrique Valderrama Laura on drums, influenced by 70’s rock’n’roll. The name bears the surname of the founders, and “La Sangrienta” qualifies the visceral and raw music they perform.
