Canis Majoris is a musical project created in Gdansk, Poland. It consists of an author of music/lyrics Alienus and invited vocalist Brut from death metal band Raspatory. The music of Canis Majoris is an atmospheric cosmic doom/black/death metal with the elements of ambient with the best traditions of Midnight Odyssey and Lustre.
Debut album »Eternity Borns From A Moment« is a journey around the endless space of the Universe. The lyrics contain philosophical thoughts of the Universe, Time and Death, as well as descriptions of wonderful phenomena, created by our Nature. Falling into a great atmosphere of the album, the listener becomes a time traveller from the beginnings of life till its total disappearance…
