Polish hard rock and heavy metal warriors Taraban will support Dool on their upcoming European tour, kicking off this April 21st in Prague. “Taraban” is an Eastern war drum used to command, set the pace, boost morale and terrify the opposition. The Krakow-based trio formed in 2013 and released two EPs in 2015 and 2016, followed by their critically acclaimed debut album »How The East Was Lost« in 2019 – a vibrant psychedelic journey into the true heart of Eastern Europe, its state of mind, epic struggles and the underwhelming romanticism of being born to lose.
Half a decade later, Taraban has returned with a renewed vision, determination and identity, shedding their garage-psych roots and roaring back as a ferocious heavy rock force. The trio’s fusion of leather-clad biker and gothic warlord imagery conveys a feeling of self-empowerment, freedom and fierce determination. This unique aesthetic blends rugged, rebellious energy with an air of commanding strength and mystique, inspiring a sense of unity and the belief that anything is possible. “If we can, anybody can. If you can, do your part.” This is Taraban. This is the OATH.
About »Oath«, the band says: “In the works since 2022, this mini-album conveys the sense of agency we have longed for and worked with tripled effort. New direction, new sound, new member, same old quality and attention to detail. Enjoy »Oath« as we do, swear an oath as we did, and hunt your dreams relentlessly!”
