Weedcraft is an instrumental stoner doom band from Puławy on exile in Warsaw. A thick broth of greasy riffs generously leavened with catchy melodies. Time passes by slowly, life is good, a man’s gotta eat. This is fat.

Says the band: “It took us over six years and some personnel changes, but it finally happened. In a couple of weeks we’ll be releasing our second album entitled »Żur«. Here’s what the cover art looks like, drawn by the talented Katarzyna Ciastoń. Stay tuned. The Żur must flow.”

Weedcraft was created in Puławy in September 2015 as a quartet playing instrumental stoner/doom metal.

Over these few years of activity, the band released their debut EP »Weedcraft« (2015), the album »Satan’s Weedcraft Heavy Spliffs« (2017) and played a number of live shows both in Poland and abroad: in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. In 2018, Maciek Kopiński left the band and was replaced by Wojtek Matuszewski (guitarist of Kapitan Bongo). In 2022, the band moved to Warsaw, and at the beginning of 2023, Łukasz Wrótniak left the band and was replaced by Kuba Kołodziejski (Maruntuka guitarist).

In April 2023, the Warsaw group recorded material for the long-awaited second studio album titled »Żur«. The recording and mixing process took place in Wieloślad Studio (Ketha, Dom Zły, Witchmaster) in cooperation with Michał Ścibior. Magnus Lindberg, a musician of Cult Of Luna, who has collaborated with bands such as Entombed, Lucifer and Tribulation, is responsible for the mastering of the record. The latest album »Żur« by Weedcraft was released on October 26, 2023 as digital on popular streaming platforms and as CD released by the band itself, which can be purchased on the Bandcamp platform.
