Polish instrumental stoner/doom metal sextet Pemod unleashed their new album »Forgotten Sun«

Myslenice, Poland based instrumental stoner/doom metal outfit Pemod is streaming their new album, »Forgotten Sun«, which was just released on December 16th, 2025.

The band comments: “We’re releasing our album »Forgotten Sun« on December 16th. Special thanks to the father of Polish doom, Michał Pijocha, who created many famous albums in this genre. Besides the six of us, his contribution, immense work, and heart made the album sound exactly as we imagined it.”

Pemod is a stoner doom band from Southern Poland.

As they often say about themselves, they play rusted ballads from the outskirts of heavily intoxicated mind.

The band has been formed in 2019 by bassist Paweł “El Coyote” Matuszyński, also includes Asia Stalmach on cello, Konrad “Ryrzy” Owczarkiewicz on drums, Dominik “Vegas” Gielas and Marek “Maro” Górka on guitars and Jaromir “Jaro” Dziewic on electro acoustic effects “Nosferatu”.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Michał Pijocha.
