Polish neo-psychedelic rockers Daffodil Pill announce new live album »Live in NCPP«; first track »Wanna Feel It« streaming now!

Wrocław, Poland based neo-psychedelic rockers Daffodil Pill present new single »Wanna Feel It« taken from their upcoming live album, »Live in NCPP«, scheduled for release on May 2026 through Interstellar Smoke Records.

Daffodil Pill is a band from Wrocław, Poland combining neo-psychedelia with surf-rock motorics and instrumentation such as sitar, theremin, and organs. The band is evolving towards faster tempos and raw energy. The group has performed over 80 concerts, and released their studio debut in 2024, produced by Marcin Bors. Daffodil Pill was featured on the international compilation by Weedian »Trip to Poland«.

The track »Wanna Feel It« previews the new Daffodil Pill live album »Live in NCPP« – a recording of the concert at the National Centre of Polish Song (NCPP) in Opole, captured in 2024. The album will be released on CD in May 2026 via Interstellar Smoke Records.

»Wanna Feel It« features a high tempo, the use of two guitars, and odd time signatures. The composition originated from improvisation and has not been previously released in a studio version.

The lyrics of »Wanna Feel It« focus on leaving one’s comfort zone and making risky choices in the name of an inner imperative. The lyrical layer is based on the dualism of symbols: the sun (safety) and the moon (the unknown).

The recording, captured at NCPP in Opole, combines a professional live capture with a lo-fi aesthetic. The final mix was processed through magnetic tape, giving the sound a natural analog compression.
