Katowice, Poland based occult rockers Devil In The Name stream their second full-length album, »Black Stone«, which was released on March 8th, 2025 through Case Studio.

Polish occult doom rock band Devil In The Name unleashed long-awaited 2nd studio album »Black Stone«! Full album streaming at Stoned Meadow Of Doom channel!

The band Devil In The Name was formed in August 2013 in the capital of Silesia – Katowice on the initiative of Adam Bugajski and Tomasz “Polewa” Plewako.

Devil In The Name is a dark journey through occult rock, stoner/doom metal and hard rock. Through fear and hell of the will of the human mind. The music combined with dark and psychedelic lyrics is a mixture of genres and climates. The band draws inspiration from artists such as: Black Sabbath, Danzig, Pentagram, Motorhead, Mustasch, Kyuss, Dust, Kadavar, Graveyard, Clutch, Obssessed, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Brimston Coven, Reverend Bizzarre.

So far the band has played and shared the stage with: Crowbar, KAT & Roman Kostrzewski, Greenleaf, Belzebong, Closterkeller, Dopelord, Taraban, Sunnata, Somali Yacht Club and Major Kong.

Music for second album was recorded by Mateusz Chruściel at Underworld Studio. All was mixed and mastered by Marcel Kraszkiewicz at Acoustic Studio (Hydra, Nuclear Jeezus). Cover artwork was done by Piotr “Qras” Kurek from Mentalporn (Acid Drinkers, Darzamat, Frontside, Terrestrial Hospice). Guest female vocal by Anja Orthodox from legendary gothic rock band Closterkeller.

»Black Stone« was released March 8, 2025 on CD by Polish label Case Studio (buy here). Album will be released digitally on April 30, 2025.
