Since 2010, Beyond The Event Horizon has been exploring the realms beyond the event horizon, balancing between rock and metal. Their sound exists in a state of unstable equilibrium – somewhere between ambient, post-rock, and prog-rock – where time dilates and structures collapse under the force of gravity. The band has released two albums and an EP.

The album »Contact« is the group’s third record. The material is dense and precise, with a structure modeled after the physics of a black hole. Beyond The Event Horizon abandons traditional arrangements, allowing the compositions to deconstruct under their own weight.

The record functions as a closed entity divided into two primary sections. The first, »Mind«, is a raw attack on the subconscious, utilizing rhythm and dissonance as neurobiological tools. The second is »Echo Of L.O.O.T.« (Lingering Omnidimensional Oracle Transmission), a linguistic-acoustic experiment investigating the boundaries of communication.

The latest album by Beyond The Event Horizon, »Contact«, announces a completely new chapter. Upon entering the Fourth Dimension, the band’s musical structure undergoes reconfiguration. A vocalist joins the instrumental foundation, acting as the missing link in the journey through time and space.

The music of Beyond The Event Horizon feels like approaching a black hole: a rising tension, the loss of reference points, and an inevitable movement toward the singularity. To many, it is perceived as a film soundtrack..
