Hypnosaur is a Polish, Warsaw-based quartet operating in the style of heavy and melodic rock’n’roll, which the band describes as ‘jurassic punk’. Founded in 2017, Hypnosaur has since released two EPs (»Illusion« in 2019 and »Undead Invaders Born To Die In A Maze« in 2024) and the full-length album »Doomsday« (2022).

»Lieflower« is a track focused on the themes of amorality and pursuing goals regardless of the cost. The title refers to masking dangerous intentions under the guise of flawlessness. The lyrics analyze the situation of individuals with strong social standing, whose own conscience remains the only mechanism of justice. Musically, the composition is based on a catchy, rock structure.

“This is a track about people who step over bodies to reach their goals. Something dangerous is hidden beneath the mask of a little flower. If someone in society holds a position strong enough to be beyond reproach, their own conscience is the only thing that can deliver any justice.” Bartosz Kulczycki (vocals/keys of Hypnosaur) says about the track »Lieflower«.

The music video for the track was produced by Kamil Kwieciński (Camel Studio). The material serves as a narrative continuation of the video for the single »Danger« and expands the visual universe associated with the new album.

Hypnosaur’s new album »Afterlife« will be released on May 26, 2026. The previous single announcing new album was »Danger«.

The single covers are part of a series that will culminate in the upcoming album cover. It is the work of well-known graphic artist Rafał Wechterowicz (Too Many Skulls), who has designed for artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, Anthrax, Ghost, Mastodon, and Behemoth.

Hypnosaur has toured in Poland and other European countries, including: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, and Hungary. The album »Doomsday« was featured in the Polish music press (including Teraz Rock, Metal Hammer, Noise Magazine, and Kvlt.pl), and the promoting single »Circle« remained on Polish top rock radio Antyradio chart for over 30 weeks.
