Polish stoner rockers Taxi Caveman are back with a new single »What A Day« featuring Macias (WAVS / Purple Haze Ensemble) on guest vocals.

About »What A Day«:

“The song »What A Day« was created during the band’s first recording session. It didn’t make it onto the debut album, because it didn’t fit stylistically a bit, and we wanted to spice it up a bit with the right vocals. We contacted Maciek, whom we knew from Krakow’s Purple Haze Ensemble, and after some time he provided us with recorded vocals treating us to a space cab trip from the perspective of the driver, who is carrying David B himself.

Everything made sense for a while, and after a few cosmetic adjustments (like recording a new bass), we’re ready to share this piece with you.

Musically, the composition is based on a guitar part that I came up with a couple of years ago and kept, to one day use in a potential hit a’la Fleetwood Mac hehe.

In this case, more Fleetwood Mac meets Brant Bjork. At least that was our intention. Whether it worked out, you’ll have to judge for yourselves.”
