Łódź, Poland based stoner/sludge/hardcore band Plata O Plomo has just released their self-titled debut EP on February 8th, 2024.

Through Colombia under the reign of Pablo Escobar, to Florida flooded by opioids, ending with NY immersed in the mafia wars. All these stories are being told in the stoner/sludge metal setting by four guys from Łódź’s basement.

Plata O Plomo debut EP shows snapshots from life of Pablo Escobar, who terrorized Colombia in 1980s and 1990s. Fueled by zealous ambition and hatred, he brought endless suffering to his own people until he was hunted down in 1993.

Recorded by Mikołaj Kiciak at Santa Studio, Warsaw in November and December of 2023.
