Press Release:
Polish hard rock band 1965 proudly release the official lyric video for their latest single, »Flames Get Higher«, delivering a bold visual companion to one of their catchiest tracks to date.
Blending the band’s signature raw energy with a gripping visual narrative, the new lyric video amplifies the song’s themes. The video incorporates footage that enhances the dystopian, cyberpunk, and apocalyptic feel of the track, creating an immersive experience for both longtime fans and new listeners. As the band members emphasize, the video was created without the use of AI, relying heavily on stock footage.
“»Flames Get Higher« is a grim, sarcastic narrative that explores the dark times we live in and how we would rather throw ourselves into the abyss of oblivion than face the problems that lie ahead of us,” says the band’s singer, guitarist, and lyricist Michał Rogalski. “The lyric video gave us a chance to show that visually, capturing the intensity of the song.”

The release of the lyric video also marks the one-year anniversary of the band’s latest EP, »Paranoid Betazoid«. At the moment, 1965 are undergoing line-up changes, following the departure of drummer Tomasz Rudnicki and the addition of second guitarist Kostas Milios.
»Flames Get Higher« has been praised for its anthemic chorus, gritty guitars, and powerful vocal delivery. With this visual launch, 1965 continue to expand their artistic universe and offer fans new ways to connect with their music.
