Braga, Portugal based instrumental stoner/psych rock trio Mau Jesus is back with their new two-track EP, »Os Rituais nas Eiras de São Lourenço«, which was just released on September 30th, 2024.

Mau Jesus is an instrumental stoner psychedelic jam rock band from Braga, Portugal. The trio is strongly influenced by the sounds of Sabbath, Earthless and riffs from the classic 60’s and 70’s rock.
Mau Jesus is very attached to the local Portuguese witchcraft folklore, and they search for inspiration for their songs in those themes mixed with their psychedelic acid way. The band consists of Alex on drums, Ricky on bass and Guedes on guitar.
»O Que Faz o Diabo na Serra« is the first studio work released in 2024, recorded at Iscream Studios in Braga, in live format. The band started at the beginning of 2023, in the rehearsal rooms of CDP (Cantigas do Poço) in the Galécia shopping center in Maximinos, Braga.
