Preamp Disaster to release their fourth studio album »By The Edges« in February 2022 via Czar Of Crickets Productions
Lucerne, Switzerland based atmospheric post-doom band Preamp Disaster has announced their fourth studio album, »By The Edges«, which will be released on February 4th, 2022 via Czar Of Crickets Productions.

Says the band: “Really big news for us today! We’re so excited to announce, that from now on we’re part of the Czar Of Crickets Productions family. It’s a big honour for us to release our upcoming album through and with this enormous label.
There is so much more to tell in the future. On January 14th we’ll release »Above The Bloodline« as a single. February 4th will be the big day as then our new album »By The Edges« will be released as LP and CD. On February 5th, we’ll celebrate the release together with JABAR at Treibhaus Luzern. Hopefully we can all celebrate this together.

Preamp Disaster – four musicians – 15 years – one passion: the creation of spherical and epochal soundscapes. The result of jamming and arranging is atmospheric post-doom, as hard as metal, as experimental as post-rock, as tight as stoner rock. Preamp Disaster recognizes what is needed: Patience to let the music evolve. Captivating guitar lines, some synthesizer and whispered vocals have just as accepted as hammering downbeats, booming amps and growl vocals as soon as the songs experience their mighty outbursts.

With »By The Edges« Preamp Disaster present their fourth studio album, which was recorded, mixed and mastered by V.O. Pulver (Gurd, Poltergeist) and will be released on February 4th, 2022 through Czar Of Crickets. In 2009, »Among The Clouds« was released. In 2011, »Through Woven Branches« was released through Subversiv Records and distributed all over Europe. After a live show at Dachstock Bern Preamp Disaster decided to release the live album »Live at Dachstock Bern 2012«, which was limited to 100 units. In 2017 the band celebrated their 10th anniversary. At the same time, Preamp Disaster released the fourth album »Waiting For Echoes« in May 2017.
Besides touring through Switzerland in 2011 and 2012 and through Europe in 2015 Preamp Disaster have played with Toundra (ESP), Rosetta (USA), Downfall of Gaia (GER), Cataya (GER), Unhold (CH), Zatokrev (CH), Leech (CH), Palmer (CH), Insanity (CH), Apoa (GER) and many more bands during the last years.
