RoadkillSoda celebrates 10 year anniversary with new single and a music video »Loud & Proud«

Romanian stoner/sludge metal band RoadkillSoda is back with some fresh goods: »Loud & Proud«, the first single off their upcoming EP. RoadkillSoda celebrated 10 years of activity in 2021. And what better way to end a milestone year than to release a new song?

RoadkillSoda is a rock band based in Bucharest, Romania. The group was formed in 2011 by guitarist and composer Mihnea Fereza, joined by his brother, bassist Victor “Vava” Ferezan, drummer Alexandru Ghita and Luna Amara vocalist Mihnea Blondariu. First release came the same year, A Fucked Up Trip Gone Bad, on a limited tape edition. Since 2011, original line up experienced several changes, as different musicians joined Mihnea and Victor.

Style wise, the band originated from the stoner, low-fi, underground party culture, visible on their first 3 albums, released in the following 3 years. After the 2014 album, »Yo No Hablo Ingles«, starting with »Space Echo And Time« (2016), and »Mephobia« (2018), the band took a wider musical approach, both with modern and vintage influences, such as Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood, Brant Bjork. The arrival of vocalist Andrei “Byst” Gherghei brought a strong grunge vibe to the group.

RoadkillSoda toured extensively and became a known live act at all major Romanian and regional festivals, such as Exit Festival, Los Almiros, Street Mode or Rockstadt Extreme Fest. The band has completed severl European tours and openend for Slash featuring Myles Kennedy, Billy Idol, Phil Campbell, Crowbar, Nick Oliveri, Therapy, Planet Of Zeus, 1000mods, Vintage Caravan, House Of Broken Promises and many more.

RoadkillSoda released 6 studio albums, 2 of them under Universal Music Label. Latest album, »Sagrada«, was released in 2020.
