Bucharest, Romania based alternative stoner metal band Green Prophet has released new single and music video »Solomon«.

One year of metamorphosis was needed for the prophet to open his eyes in the deep green forest. All the suffering he had during this period was not in vain because he drew inspiration from the void and prepared a mixture full of elements.

Now, the Green Prophet is ready to share his potions around the world. The band took one year to compose the songs for their new album called »Apus«. It is already recorded and, at this time, is being mixed and mastered by Marius Costache (Studio148). The Ottoman-themed intro is followed by nine compositions that take the listener through various emotions.

Green Prophet is a combination of stoner metal riffs, deep, slow drum beats, and melancholic vocals, immersing in the pool of psychedelic depression. The sound of the void can be heard through the use of other instruments, such as the Turkish saz and ney, or the Romanian kaval.

Formed in 2022, the band has released three singles: »Vasal«, »Deluviu«, and »Memento Mori«.

In 2023, Green Prophet had the opportunity to play in Bucharest, Romania, as the opening act for bands like Naxatras or Diablo Swing Orchestra. They aim to continue spreading the green mist in other places as well.
