Inspired by the mind-bending sound of the 70s and the loud and angry music of the 90s, Vandaal wants to bring back the dirty sound of fuzz pedals, heavy bass lines and ear piercing drums, but with a psychedelic twist.

“We experimented with psychedelic and stoner influences in our first songs, and now we are excited to join the heavier side of metal.

Our lyrics are equivalent to a walk through the museum of problems we face daily, from addictions to anxieties and much more.

We express ourselves in a raw manner, there’s something inside of us that screams every time we make music.”

“The concept of our second EP is generally based on repression. We experience so many negative situations due to the system we’re part of, so we need a space where we can scream and show our problems.

The East mainly refers to Romania, Ukraine, and other countries in the region that have been living through the horrors of the last decade.”
