Rosy Finch premiere new lyric video for the track »Vermilion« from their latest album »Scarlet«

Spanish sludge/stoner/grunge trio Rosy Finch premiere new lyric video for the track »Vermilion« from their latest album, »Scarlet«, which was released on March 6th, 2020 via Lay Bare Recordings, Discos Macarras, La Rubia Producciones and Spinda Records.
The singer Mireia Porto comments: “The shooting of this clip was a very intense experience. We were in full lockdown, and we thought it would be a good idea to put together a homemade music video based on Amenábar’s movie »Tesis«. As big horror fans, we tried to transcribe this feeling of hopelessness, loneliness, torture and anxiety… The fear of a girl who wants to escape from a “snuff movie”. The song describes a toxic relationship where a friend becomes a stalker. Bad people sometimes like to breathe down your neck and make you think you are crazy. You have to escape somehow.”
Rosy Finch is a sludge/grrrl stoner/grunge trio born in Spain in 2013 with an eclectic blend of the 90’s grrls and a lot of alternative rock influences. The band builds a world through noisy elements and atmospheric vocals, at times delirious and at others full of rage, combining both insidious and heavy riffs to perfection.
Óscar Soler (Domo & Pyramidal) and Juanjo Ufarte (Grajo & The Dry Mouths) joined the band in 2019 on bass and drums. The new formation evolved into a more visceral and aggressive sound where Mireia Porto (singer and guitarist) finally seems to be in her element and succeed in transmitting furiously her darkest emotions.
“Scarlet is about aspiring to be more and to do more. It’s about the idea that nothing will remove the pain but nothing can detain you. Red has always represented danger, lust, sin, guilt, blood…” says Mireia.
Each song on »Scarlet« has a red type colour in the title and represents different stories of different people (from fantasy to the real life) always ranging from love to violence.
The album is heavier and sludgier than their previous releases and contains plenty of screams, melodic vocals, metal drums and dirty bass lines. Its dark and it’s Scarlet Red.
