Melodic death doom metal outfit Psilocybe Larvae released a brand new EP called »Новый Дивный Мир (Brave New World)« on August 15, 2025. It includes two brand new songs in Russian – a historic first for the band – alongside a re-recorded version of the track »Hostile Emptiness« from their 2003 album, »Agony«. The EP is available on all digital platforms at this location.

Says the band: “This is an unusual and experimental work for Psilocybe Larvae. For the first time in the band’s history, we wrote songs in Russian. We aimed to preserve the unique atmosphere of melancholy, despair, and rage in the music, while adding heaviness and density to the sound by blending these elements with Russian lyrics. This EP reflects dreams of a brave new world that we will never see.”
