Glossa combines the crushing weight of doom metal, the howling cold of black metal, ancient ritualistic drone, and the roar of the earth itself. The resulting sound was created in order to facilitate deep meditation, particularly on the shadows of this world and the world beyond. Comprised of Justin Graver and John-Ross Boyce, the Utah-based duo recently released their full-length debut, »Death Is Not The End« in 2024. As its title implies, this album is just the beginning for Glossa.

»Death Is Not The End« is an exploration of all things Thanatos – the brutalization of the body, the corruption of the spirit, the destruction of the earth, and the shedding of the self. This glacially heavy debut was recorded at The Boar’s Nest by Andy Patterson (who also performed the percussion); mixed and mastered by Randy Cordner at Beast Mansion; and features an array of talent from the looming mountains of the Wasatch Range.
