Swiss doomed industrial dream pop act Sauvageoness presents new live session album, »Into The Deep Woods«, which was just released independently on October 30th, 2026.
Sauvageoness is a solo projact by Carole Obère from Swiss noise-rock/post-punk trio torpedo.

Sauvageoness invite you »Into The Deep Woods« with a special live session, now captured on vinyl in a truly unique edition.
Recorded by Sauvageoness at the precious Bunker Paradise, the live session was mixed and mastered by longtime favorite Jack Shirley at the legendary The Atomic Garden Studio in Oakland before being pressed to vinyl. The result is an intimate yet powerful document of the band’s live sound, raw, immersive, and deeply atmospheric.
Each copy comes on marble eco vinyl, with a completely unique pattern, making every record one of a kind. The cover artwork by Atra Biler offers a glimpse into the film surrounding the session, while the sleeves are printed at Reitschule in Bern and folded by the band themselves.
»Into The Deep Woods • Live Session & Film« is more than a live recording – it is a physical piece of the Sauvageoness universe: a beautiful sound, a unique object, and a trace of a moment that can never be repeated. The album is working as a ritual of the maze and of the splendour.
Conceived as a “concert to go” for her beloved audience, the album comes paired with a film of the recording session – a kind of ritualistic reverie.
The record features 10 tracks captured live at her dear studio, Bunker Paradise, in Renens. It captures a raw, live sound – distinct from the polished feel of a studio albums. The setlist reflects the live performances Sauvageoness has delivered throughout the past year, blending tracks from her previous album, »A Maze Deep In«, with unreleased material.
»Into The Deep Woods« is available in digital, vinyl, and film, as well as on DIY CD and DVD editions – making it a truly unique and “unidentified” musical object.

After going through a calm and sweet register – folk perhaps – with »PHOEBE«, their second album released last year, Sauvageoness’ compositions have capsized towards powerful, enveloping textures, as well as corrosive ones. It’s a charming serrated blend of post-punk, punk, post-rock, noise-rock, shoegaze, doom and black metal touches… industrial dream pop that sings & howls. Like an echo of the mysterious, inhabited woods from which this hybrid creature has emerged to, just a little more, tune us to our humanity.
Sauvageoness (pronounced SAU-VA-JO-NESS) began by releasing an EP of psychedelic folk covers entitled black book, in 2022. Then a second EP in early 2024, entitled »PHOEBE«, which takes the form of a hand-crafted fanzine-album. The EP consists of 9 tracks with lyrics coming from poems by authors from the beat generation, spoken on fanciful folk, indie rock and occasional industrial elements. Following this release, they played a series of concerts on the US West Coast during Spring 2024. Where Sauvageoness were recently touring again the whole Coast and finalizing the recording of a new set of compositions at The Atomic Garden Studio in Oakland, California. A first part of this new set became »A Maze Deep In«, an album which has dropped on vinyl at the middle of the beautiful month of May. The brand new album »Into The Deep Woods • Live Session & Film« is made for a good part by live versions of the songs from »A Maze Deep In«.
