Savanah share a music video for »Velvet Scarf« taken from their upcoming full-length album »Olympus Mons«

Austrian stoner rock band Savanah share a music video for »Velvet Scarf« taken from their upcoming full-length album, »Olympus Mons«, set to release on May 27th, 2021 via StoneFree Records and Ripple Music.

»Velvet Scarf« deals with the inner conflict caused by money, power and technology. The film plays with the topic of ‘work’. It criticizes the demotion of the human workforce, triggered by modern capitalism.

The band comments: “We would think that the long lasting announcing should have reached an end and today we are proud to present you »Velvet Scarf“, the second song on our new album which will be released in two weeks via StoneFree Records.

As if that wasn’t good enough, we are happy to finally release Savanah’s first official music video, created by the great Christian Fischer in collaboration with NDZW and Ambros Knapp.

Furthermore, we couldn’t be more proud to have found a wonderful partner in MoreFuzz, who is releasing the clip including a wonderful review. Just click the link below!

The song is also ready to be listened on all common streaming platforms like Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and others.”

The moment rock appears to be manifested in the brain, Savanah lifts the listener with hypnotic heavy riffs and alternating loud and apathetic tones into a world that covers all facets of the emotional palette.

Since their first show in 2014, Savanah was hitting the streets of Europe several times to share rad moments with awesome people all over this continent. Beside tons of gigs, support-shows for scene greats like Pentagram, Colour Haze, Fu Manchu, Jex Thoth or John Garcia and quite a few festival appearances, the band did three European tours.

Savanah is:
Benny Schwarz – Bass, Vocals
Jakob Gauster – Guitar, Backing Vocals
Felix Thalhammer – Drums

»Olympus Mons« will be released worldwide as vinyl and CD on May 27th, 2021 via StoneFree Records. For faster shipping to America, the US label Ripple Music will also distribute »Olympus Mons« via their online store.
