Cwfen comments: “We’re proud to share some news: we’ve signed with New Heavy Sounds!

It’s hard to put into words what this means to us. The label is a beacon for bold and uncompromising music and they’ve been following us since Cwfen started. To be welcomed into the fold feels wonderful.

Our debut album will be released in 2025 and having the support of NHS as we bring it into the world is into the world is both humbling and exciting. It feels the perfect home for everything we’ve been pouring into this record. This new chapter feels like a chance to fully step into who we are and what we’ve been brewing over the last 2 years.

To everyone who’s been with us on this journey so far – thank you. The best is yet to come!”

Coven. An assembly of witches.

Cwfen hail from greyest Glasgow. An occult metal four-piece, the union of solo project Skltnwmn and post-black metal outfit First Temple Of The Atom. They’ve been exploring shadows together since late 2022.

Blending melody and ferocity, their music explores untold stories. Witches and martyrs. Sinners and saints. Fire. Water. Eternal damnation.

»Reliks« single is available in limited edition, hand-numbered out of 100. Artwork and design by Agnes Alder. Includes studio tracks »Reliks« and »Penance«, plus an exclusive live recording of »Bodies« from Core Festival 2023, not available online.
