Ancient Of Days are the pioneers of “hyper doom” the latest in a never ending field of evolving metal music genres. Combining that sweet sweet bitterness of a doom laden life with the thrills that only come when you put your life on the line.

Idea: How to slay for 5000+ people

Preparation: Start with the stock, base ingredients Sabbath, Maiden, Danzig, Slayer. Let these cook slow over a period of years or until hair becomes silver.

Drums: allow (don’t force) the ingestion of 2 quarts cider, feed minced meat, layered with peppers and hot spices. Serve with a hearty side salad of Poison Idea and Manowar. Followed by one on one basketball with a tennis ball.

Bass: allow (never disallow) the ingestion of 1 dozen lager (any brand), feed large multi meat patty stuffed with fresh chilies, serve in bun of Neurosis & The Doors.

Guitar: allow (Check for ID now!) the ingestion of 1 dozen ales, feed sausage meat, cooked with herbs and spices, season liberally with C.O.C., H.O.F., E.H.G. etc. not recommended to use E.M.F. or E.L.O.

Vocals: mix this one up a little, take one vocal and add a large splash Maiden, 1 tablespoon Danzig, a pinch of King Diamond, bring to the boil. Then for vocal two take 1 tablespoon Today Is The Day, add 1 tablespoon Iron Monkey, place in microwave oven and nuke til crispy.

Result: A tasty Ancient Of Days for at least 5000 people
