Scottish stoner/doom project Earthcaster has released their monumental debut album, »Antediluvian«, out now via Morningstar Records.
Hailing from the rugged coast of Fraserburgh, Earthcaster crafts a devastating sonic experience by blending slow, bone-crushing riffs with dark, deeply atmospheric soundscapes. »Antediluvian« marks the arrival of a powerful new force in the UK underground heavy scene, dragging listeners into a bleak, primordial world of sound.
The album was tracked at the legendary York Street Studio in Aberdeen, capturing the raw, live energy of the project’s colossal wall of sound. The entire record was produced, mixed, and mastered by the acclaimed Steve Curtis, who meticulously balanced the sheer volume of the heavy instrumentation with the nuanced, dark textures of the ambient arrangements.
Visually capturing the apocalyptic and prehistoric themes of the music, the striking album artwork was created by renowned artist Izaac Morrison. Morrison’s visual style perfectly mirrors the sonic weight of the tracks, offering a grim, evocative gateway into the world Earthcaster has built.
Released on October 12, 2026 through Morningstar Records, »Antediluvian« is available now on double gatefold vinyl, CD and all major streaming platforms, with T-shirt bundle options also available.

Born out of the bleak landscapes of Aberdeenshire, Earthcaster is a stoner/doom band dedicated to exploring the boundaries of cosmic dread and tectonic weight. »Antediluvian« represents a meticulous fusion of classic doom reverence and modern atmospheric experimentation.
Drawing inspiration from the heavy weight of classic doom and the cosmic, dark textures of atmospheric metal, the project crafts monolithic soundscapes that explore themes of time, decay, and pre-ancient history.
