Serbian alternative rock duo Babaduh unveil a lyric video for their new single »I onda udari grom«

Niš, Serbia based alternative rock duo Babaduh has unveiled a lyric video for their new single »I onda udari grom«.

»I onda udari grom« is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming album »Mizera«.

The song tells a story about naiads that existed in the strait near Messina and allowed sailors to pass if they were worthy of it. The lyrics also mention a breach of promise by one of the naiads. Sailors who encountered a whirlpool and a display of a naiad were thrown onto the opposite rock, thus experiencing severe shipwrecks.

The opening riffs mark the way to the whirlpool, the chorus only shows the naiad, and “breakdown” symbolizes the shipwreck and suffering from the perspective of one of the unfortunate sailors who found himself on that ship. The theme of the song is pure fiction, but risk and choosing between two evils has become an everyday thing for many people.

Recorded and produced by Vladimir Milosavljević.
Video done by Stefan Ljubomirović.
