Serbian southern/stoner metal band Northern Revival share new music video for »Broken«; second full-length album »Modification« out on Geenger Records!

Novi Sad, Serbia based southern/stoner metal band Northern Revival has released new music video for »Broken« taken from their latest full-length album, »Modification«, out on September 9th, 2022 via Geenger Records.

Northern Revival is a band from Novi Sad, Serbia. If their music has to be labeled with a certain genre, it might be most accurately called stoner heavy rock, although it is much more than that. You can hear many influences from classic rock’n’roll, sludge metal, blues, psychedelic rock, hard core to stoner in their music they have been grinding and polishing for 10 years to get to what defines the sound and band’s style today.

They have four releases behind them, EP »Mouth Full Of Dirt« (2015, Miner Records), album »Life Survival Tips« (2016, Nocturne Media), EP »Electric Power Supply« (2019, 1001 Stoned / Librarion Records) and album »Modification« (2022, Geenger Records).

Following their development through releases, it is clear that this is a band that does not stop creatively reshaping and supplementing, experimenting and advancing in every sense. It can be said after ten years of dedicated work, today they are at the very top of the Serbian stoner scene as one of the most active bands on the scene. In their career, they shared stages with world-famous bands such as: 1000mods, Greenleaf, Bongzilla, Nightstalker, Dopethrone, Planet Of Zeus, Sasquatch etc. and played on many festivals: Exit Festival (SRB), TLO Fest (SRB), Alparfeszt (HU), Barock Fest (RO), Gugulan Rock Festival (RO), Kunigunda Festival (SLO), Metal Enduro (RO), Boureque Feszt (HU), Naša Stvar (BiH), United Metal Festival (SRB), Festival Srpskog Podzemlja (SRB), Urban Muse Fest (SRB) etc.

One of the curiosities related to Northern Revival as a name and phenomenon is the fact that in 2017, in cooperation with the brewery RazBeerbriga, they created their own beer brand, Northern Revival pale ale. In 2023, as part of the standard merch, they promote and sell Northern Revival golden ale, as a product of cooperation with 6th Street Brewery.
