Swedish psychedelic rockers Siena Root launch music video for »Dusty Roads« in celebration of their new album, »Revelation«, which was just released this Friday, February 24th, 2023 via Atomic Fire Records.

»Revelation«, the highly anticipated new album of Swedish root rock figureheads Siena Root, is officially out this Friday on Atomic Fire Records. In celebration of the record’s release, the band presents a new music video for »Dusty Roads«.

The band comments, “»Dusty Roads« is a song that summarises the theme of the album in both words and sound. It’s a hymn about life on the road and at the same time a farewell to the city. Starting with mellow acoustic tunes, the track develops into a psychedelic heavy rocker just to fade out peacefully.”

The video was edited once again by Linus Grane who edited the band’s »Little Burden« video and supported by Siena Root’s Zubaida Solid (vocals, keys) and Love Forsberg (drums).

Additionally, parts of the »Revelation« videos can also be seen in »Wheels Of Revelation – A Road Movie Featuring Siena Root«. The 38-minute, album based film premiered last night in Sweden, where the group came together with fans and friends for an exclusive screening event, and can now be watched in cooperation with Firebird Industries (fee: €5). Fittingly titled, »Revelation« serves as the group’s most versatile offering of their long-spanning career. The record is a musical journey through light and dark, revealing Siena Root’s acoustic side as well as their heavier riffs. The soundcape deals with nature and wilderness but also with urban dust and corrosion. The eleven-track offering was recorded analogously at Silence Studio in Koppom, Sweden and Root Rock Studios in Stockholm, Sweden where it was also mixed. Mastering was handled at Stockholm’s Cutting Room.

Founded in the late ’90s, Siena Root are constantly working on something new. They’ve continually changed their approach and experimented with their sound – not only to keep their music fresh but to challenge themselves, which is among the main reason why the group’s relevance remains after all these years. Besides touring with acts such as Deep Purple and Dewolff, the quartet – founding members drummer Love Forsberg and bassist Sam Riffer with guitarist Johan Borgström and vocalist/keyboardist Zubaida Solid – have always brought an infectious performance to stages globally and consistently gaining new fans with every show.
