UK rockers Sky Valley Mistress share a live performance video for acoustic version of »It Won’t Stop« from the upcoming »Acoustic Sessions« EP, which will be released on March 26th, 2021 via New Heavy Sounds.

Says the band: “Many of you asked, so of course, New Heavy Sounds have delivered – it’s what they do. We are beyond grateful for everything they do and excited to share with you the first in a series of EP’s they are releasing to commemorate their 10th Anniversary.”

Sky Valley Mistress play »It Won’t Stop«, a track taken from their debut album »Faithless Rituals«. This time in an intimate acoustic session recorded at the band’s studio in Blackburn. This track is available as part of a very limited edition CD EP as part of New Heavy Sounds’ 10th anniversary series.

New Heavy Sounds on »Acoustic Sessions« EP:

“This EP is part of the New Heavy Sounds 10th anniversary EP series. 2021 is a landmark of a kind for New Heavy Sounds, as it is 10 years since the label first started back in 2011.

So in order to mark our 10th year, we are going to be releasing a series of 10th anniversary CD EP’s in very, very limited editions. These ep’s will contain new or exclusive tracks from our roster and beyond and will be available by mail order only. They will also of course be available digitally for the first time.

The first of these limited editions features Blackburn stoner blues rockers Sky Valley Mistress. Before the world went into lockdown in 2020, we asked the guys to record an acoustic set for us, and this is the result.

The set contains 4 songs from their debut album: »You Got Nothin’«, »Skull & Pistons«, »It Won’t Stop« and »She Is So«. This is Sky Valley Mistress in intimate mode, just keyboards, percussion, guitar and the sonorous vocals of Kayley.

The stripped-down mode really allows her to shine and more than anything showcases what a brilliant expressive voice she has.

Recorded in their studio and specially re-mastered for this release, we hope you’ll be as captivated as we were when we heard them.”
