Maribor, Slovenia based alternative/stoner rock band Dolomite Dust premiere their new single »Broken Machine«, released on February 5th, 2026.

»Broken Machine« is now available for streaming on all major digital platforms!

Dolomite Dust is a four-piece alternative rock band from Maribor, Slovenia. All the members have played in various rock and metal bands in previous decades. Dolomite Dust started forming in 2020, when the original trio (known as Death Pic Cigarettes) met and instrumentalized endlessly. Although it was fun to get stoned and jam, they wanted to include vocals in their music as well. After several attempts with various singers, the experienced vocalist Aleš finally joined the band in 2024.

In terms of genre, Dolomite Dust jokes: “We limit ourselves anyway, because we can only play what our grandmothers and friendly store clerks in the Spar’s meat department gave us to listen to!”

Currently, they are best at “attempting to perform stoner, occasionally caressing themselves with some kind of hard rock or metal, and (un)consciously also throwing in some pop-rock inserts or tampons.”

After »Red Dragon« and »Stone Fire« (both recorded in 2023), their new single »Broken Machine« dropped in February 2026.
