Mastermind Emil Lončarević comments: “On the cover for »A Thousand Serpents Holding Poison« you see a tree (linden tree) that is overlooking the graveyard where both of my grandparents are buried. It is said to be over 500 years old and has become somewhat of a symbol of the village my grandparents are from. You must pass the linden tree to get to the town. One of my grandfather’s daily routines was going on his morning walks to the tree, often visiting his parents’ graves, sometimes just walking past it to get to town and meet up with his old buddies for a cup of coffee and a chat. Simple times. Good times. I took this picture a few years ago. I haven’t been there since 2019 due to Covid restrictions. Visiting again at the beginning of August. I wonder how the tree’s holding up. It got struck by lightning a few years ago.

With that being said; It’s been a long time coming with this EP and I’m glad that I can finally… FINALLY let go of it, so I can move onto the next thing. I’m sick of hearing these songs but I’m proud with how they all came out. Everything in its right place. Cheers!”
