Orphean Passage is a six-piece death/doom metal band from Cape Town, South Africa.

Featuring current and former members of Crow Black Sky, DevilSpeak, A Walk With The Wicked, Mind Assault, Grämlich and Woltemade.

Says the band: “On April 30, 2024, Orphean Passage officially released their debut album, »Apart« and it is available on all streaming platforms.

To attempt to explain how much this collection of solemn songs means to us would be almost an injustice to the labour, the love, and the longing that has gone into the creation, execution, and finally the release of this body of work.

It has taken far too long, and far too much, for these tunes of tragedy to be given to you lightly. We are excited, proud, and delighted to unleash upon you the doom you deserve.

And we are filled with hope that you may derive at least a small part of the aching, desolate melancholy that we have so lovingly poured into these pieces… from the depths of our hearts… and that each of you takes from them something that resonates with the individual.
