Toundra is an instrumental rock band from Madrid, Spain. Since forming in 2007, Toundra has carved out a unique path within the European instrumental music scene, proving that the absence of vocals is no barrier. Following a self-titled debut that quickly gained traction in the underground circuit, the band embarked on a trajectory of steady growth, eventually performing on major stages and at festivals across the continent.

Over the course of nearly two decades, they have evolved without ever losing their core identity – from their “numbered” era (»II«, »III« and »IV«) to the redefinition of their sound on »Vortex« (2018) and »Hex« (2022). Their creative universe has expanded well beyond conventional studio albums, ranging from the narrative ambition of a soundtrack for the silent film classic »The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari« to their acclaimed fusion of flamenco and rock with Niño de Elche in the project »Exquirla«. Toundra has consistently demonstrated an inexhaustible artistic curiosity, moving fluidly between post-rock, progressive music, and metal.

In 2026, Toundra enters its most personal and daring phase yet with the new LP »Siete«. Marking the arrival of Jorge García on guitar and synthesizers, the band has embraced a path of total self-release and independent management. This return to independence allows the group to explore a freer sound, where their signature monolithic impact blends with a more prominent use of analog electronics and synthetic textures.

Mixed by Santi García. Mastered by Víctor García at Ultramarinos Costa Brava, Sant Feliu de Guixols.
