Santander, Spain based instrumental post-rockers Medussa are gearing up to release their new full-length album »Mueran las Ideas« on April 18th, 2026 via Discos Macarras Records, Conspiración de Iguales, Four Skulls, Muerte Matar Records, Primitive Noise Producciones, Producciones Tudancas, Quebranta Records and Vinilako.

On April 18th, Medussa’s new album »Mueran las Ideas« will be officially released on vinyl LP, digital platforms, and with an exclusive live presentation at the “Centro Cívico Tabacalera” in Santander.

Recorded at OVNI Studios and mixed by Pablo Senator, the new album has been produced by the band themselves. On this record, Medussa seeks a greater involvement in the sound production, aiming for a more direct and natural sound.

The music of this instrumental quartet shifts between light and dark, moving from calm to rage. The tracks evolve naturally and directly, without too many explanations, guided by heavy riffs that grow step-by-step and, occasionally, explode into walls of sound. Then again, listeners might hear something completely different…

It’s damn hard to explain music with words, anyway, you can find Medussa under tags like post-rock, post-metal, alternative metal, progressive metal, or simply rock… which, even if they don’t always fully describe the band, definitely influence them.
