Northern Lights is the culmination of a jamming project that went too far. With roots in the prog, stoner, space, math, post-hardcore and alt rock, Northern Lights is an instrumental band for those that dare to go on a explosive and mind bending journey. Get comfortable an enjoy the experience.

Three years after »As Above«, Northern Lights completes both the phrase and the story with »So Below«.

»So Below« is a five-track, 30-minute sci-fi concept album blending heavy psych, space rock, stoner rock and progressive rock. The album continues the narrative introduced on As Above: The Dude returns to a devastated Earth, encounters the survivors of an alien invasion, undergoes a transformation and enters the alien hive for a final confrontation.

After several years of inactivity, the remaining members of Northern Lights returned to the unfinished record to complete the music, mastering and artwork. »So Below« closes the story begun on As Above and brings this chapter of Northern Lights to an end.
