Valencia, Spain based melodic doom/death metal band Evadne has celebrated 20th anniversary last year and released studio live album »20 Years Behind The Veil Of Melancholy« on December 31st, 2023 via Meuse Music Records.

Evadne celebrates 20 years of existence in 2023!

To commemorate the anniversary, the band recorded on mid-September 2023 with a string quartet and accompanied by the awesome voice of Natalie Koskinen (Shape Of Despair & The Abbey) and under the direction of Sergio Peiro Molina at Pentasonic Studios, a live concert with 11 songs chosen from the whole discography by the band members and their fans!

More than one hour and a half of pure melancholy filmed in 4K quality!

The album is released as a double CD audio format housed in a beautiful 8-panels digipak with 16-pages booklet by Meuse Music Records.

Its introspective lyrics explore themes of desolation, loss and redemption, while its meticulously crafted arrangements create an enveloping atmosphere. With the release of »A Mother Named Death« (2017) and the subsequent »The Pale Light Of Fireflies« (2021) the band continues captivating audiences with a more mature and evocative sound.
