Huelva, Spain based stoner/grunge/hard rock band Monkey Ham has just released their new three-track EP »Black Swamp« January 30th, 2026.

About the EP:

»Black Swamp« marks Monkey Ham’s tenth anniversary with three tracks blending stoner rock, hard rock, and grunge-rooted vocals. The EP features the single »Today’s Latest«, released a few months ago, alongside two brand-new tracks: »Black Swamp«, with powerful riffs and a Sabbath-inspired doom chorus, and »Love Scum«, a short, punchy track that sits between punk and grunge.

The release is accompanied by a music video for »Black Swamp«, inspired by classic swamp-creature films, reflecting the intensity and character of the EP. All tracks were recorded at Happy Place Studio with Paco Prieto.

About Monkey Ham:

Monkey Ham was formed in 2016 in Huelva, Spain. Influenced by stoner rock, hard rock, and grunge, the band stands out for powerful riffs, grunge-rooted vocals, and a live performance style that grabs you from the first note.

In 2022 they released their first EP, »Pull The Trigger«, making a strong entrance into the underground scene. In 2026 they return with »Black Swamp«, an EP that confirms their evolution within stoner and hard rock, with heavy riffs, grunge-rooted vocals, and a sound that hooks from the first chord.
