About »Hound With No Bone«:

Some songs are made to get your feet moving. Others are meant to make you bang your head. With »Hound With No Bone«, Monkey Ham unveil a new track that blends the drive of rock & roll with stoner riffs and progressive arrangements, combining infectious grooves with a raw, uncompromising performance.

Lyrically, »Hound With No Bone« uses the figure of a dog to portray a toxic relationship shaped by resentment and the slow wear of everyday conflict.

»Hound With No Bone« was recorded at Sputnik Studio in Seville under the guidance of Alfonso Espadero, who handled both recording and mixing. With a long career behind him, Espadero has worked with bands such as Reincidentes and Orthodox. The band tracked drums, bass and rhythm guitar live over the course of a single weekend, capturing the energy of playing together in the same room. Lead vocals, guitar solos and keyboards were completed during those same sessions.

Mastering was handled by Jordi Gil, musician and producer best known for his work with Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, giving the song its final organic and hard-hitting sound.

About Monkey Ham:

Formed in Huelva, Spain, in 2016, Monkey Ham draw inspiration from stoner rock, hard rock and grunge. Their sound is built around heavy riffs, grunge-rooted vocals and a rhythm section driven by power and groove.

Following the release of their debut EP, »Pull The Trigger« (2022), and »Black Swamp« (2026), the band continue to expand their sound with »Hound With No Bone«, a new single that brings together rock & roll energy, stoner heaviness and progressive touches without sacrificing the intensity of their live performances.
