Structure (feat. Pim Blankenstein of Officium Triste) to release debut album »Heritage« on April 25th via Ardua Music!

Bram Bijlhout is perhaps best known for his guitar work with Officium Triste, who he served for seven years, performing on the Dutch doom/death legends split EP with Ophis – »Immersed« – and the album »Mors Viri«…however that is all about to change. In 2021 he started a new project under the name Structure, where he began to expand upon the doom/death template, broadening it’s range of emotion, infusing it with honesty and integrity – creating something instantly recognisable yet also fresh and impactful. After finding his way with a self titled EP in 2022 and a single, »Disordered«, in 2023, Bram is now ready to reveal the full-length debut from Structure, in alliance with Ardua Music – »Heritage«.
Tracklist:
01. Will I Deserve It
02. What We Have Lost
03. Long Before Me
04. The Sadness Of Everyday Life
05. Heritage
06. The Feeling Of Confusion
07. Until The Last Gasp (Instrumental)
Featuring lead vocals from Pim Blankenstein (Officium Triste), drums by Dirk Bruinenberg (Elegy) and additional vocals from Robert Soeterboek (Plan 9, Ayreon), »Heritage«, a collection of seven emotive, momentous songs, will be released by Ardua Music on April 25th. Speaking about »Heritage« Bram has said…
“»Heritage« features a darker approach, more heavy riffs yet retaining all the melodies. These songs turned out to be the heaviest ones written for Structure, and the help of some great friends made this an album that I am very proud of.”
»Heritage« was mastered by Dool bass player J.B. Van Der Wal and its distinctive artwork features photographs from Bram Bijlhout’s personal family collection.
