SubRosa announce special reunion show at Fire In The Mountains festival in July 2026!

Salt Lake City, Utah based experimental sludge/doom metal collective SubRosa will reunite to perform a special show at Fire In The Mountains festival in July 2026.

The band comments: “SubRosa is thrilled to announce that we are returning to the stage again in 2026 for a special reunion show at Fire In The Mountains festival. It has been awhile, and we couldn’t be more excited to play for you again.

Rebecca played a solo set at FitM last year as The Keening at its new location in Montana, and the other members of SubRosa played FitM a few years ago as The Otolith. We were completely inspired by what we experienced, and Rebecca last year was especially inspired by the warm and gracious welcome the Blackfeet Nation gave our metal scene.

We are happy to be joined in our lineup for this show (Kim Cordray, Sarah Pendleton, Rebecca Vernon, Andy Patterson, and Levi Hanna) by The Otolith bassist Matt Brotherton, with Levi shifting to second guitar. We are big fans of the festival and its intentions and we can’t think of a more fitting and beautiful setting to play this SubRosa reunion show.
